Carl Haskell, Project Manager for our Buckton Fields development in Northampton, has been recognised for his exceptional standards and hard work with a coveted National House Building Council (NHBC) award for the second consecutive year.
The NHBC’s Pride in the Job Quality Awards are the most highly regarded competition in the house-building industry and have been rewarding excellence in the industry for over four decades. The awards recognise the best run building sites in the country and are amongst the highest accolades a Site Manager can achieve.
Carl comments: “We always work hard to deliver high-quality homes so to be recognised with a Pride in the Job Award is a great feeling! I have to thank my team on site – this award would not have been possible if it wasn’t for the commitment of everyone to maintaining such high standards.”
Competing against over 11,000 entrants, Carl is one of only 450 Site Managers recognised for their dedication to building homes of an outstanding standard. In addition to spot checks from the NHBC, Site Managers are judged on their consistency, attention to detail, leadership, technical expertise, and health and safety.
Chris Hamilton, our Managing Director adds: “The Pride in the Job Award recognises the hugely important role that Site Managers play on a development, it is a significant achievement for anyone, especially on a development the size of Buckton Fields. We are very proud of Carl and the whole team, this award is testament to the consistent quality of work delivered at the site over the last two years.”
Buckton Fields has so far delivered over 140 new homes and been especially popular with first time buyers and young families. Once complete, it will offer a range of facilities, including its own primary school which is set to launch next year, convenience shops and services, open parkland and play spaces.
